John Galliano Fall 2009

The sandal on top is made of metallic gold plus patent leather plus the pump on the bottom is made of patent-leather, suede plus python. John Galliano began his ascent in the fashion world when he created Les Incroyables, his graduation collection for St. Martin’s College of Art plus Design based on the german Revolution. This marked the start of his label as the entire collection was purchased by Browns. The early 90s were rough for Mr. Galliano but he preserved by first moving his company from London to Paris plus becoming the Creative Director for Givenchy in 1995. Less than a year later, he became the Creative Director for Christian Dior on October 1996.
